Nur Hamiza from Malaysia has always been passionate about animals. One day, fate brought her together with a stray cat in terrible condition — emaciated, covered in sores, with an injured paw, and almost completely bald. The poor thing weighed only two kilograms and looked as if it were on the verge of life and death. For many, this would have been a hopeless sight, but Nur saw this encounter as a sign and decided that she was the one who had to save the unfortunate creature.
The cat, named Meimei, seemed to have chosen her owner herself. She approached the woman and climbed into a box without resistance, allowing herself to be taken to the vet. Despite the skepticism of those around her, Hamiza believed that she could give the animal a chance at life and made every effort to restore her pet’s health.
A year later, the result exceeded all expectations: the emaciated and sick cat Meimei turned into a well-groomed, beautiful, and cheerful pet. Although she is still wary of strangers and does not like to walk outside, Meimei feels safe at home and reciprocates her savior’s love.
