Jyoti Amge, 30, recognized as the world’s shortest woman at just 62.8 cm tall, recently met with 27-year-old Rumeysa Gelgi, the world’s tallest woman at an impressive 215.16 cm. The women organized a special tea party at London’s The Savoy hotel to celebrate receiving the Guinness World Records Icons Award. However, one unexpected detail of their meeting quickly went viral, sparking widespread admiration.

After the event, Amge, who is an actress, appeared on television, where she spoke openly about the daily challenges she faces. She admitted that she sometimes needs her family’s help to leave the house. Due to her small size, her apartment has been specially adapted — the furniture and equipment have been adjusted to her height to make it easier for her to move around and access necessary items.

Her interpreter, Amol Pangul, added that “in her daily life, Jyoti encounters difficulties in performing routine activities. At home, everything is organized so that she can comfortably reach the things she needs. When she wants to go out, she can always count on the support of her family — someone is there to help her.”

Amge was accompanied by Rumeysa Gelgi, who was diagnosed with the rare Weaver syndrome, a disease that causes rapid growth and skeletal deformities. Her case was the 27th recorded in the world and the first in Turkey. Rumeysa uses a wheelchair and can only stand for a short time with the help of a walker, but she remains determined and does not let her condition limit her achievements. The most surprising moment of the meeting was their conversation and the clear difference in the tone of their voices. Gelga’s voice was low and resonant, while Amge surprised everyone with her high, thin tone. The contrast between their voices aroused great interest among viewers.

Internet users commented: “Their voices are so diametrically different.” “Do they use voice changers? 💀” “It’s fascinating how different their voices are; I didn’t know that height could affect it, but it makes sense in the context of vocal cords and chest.” Many emphasized that “you can almost tell their height from their voices alone — it’s very interesting.”
