The story of a horse named Peabody is both touching and sad, although its ending remains open. From a biological point of view, this tiny foal should never have been born. Today, according to Lemurov.net, Peabody is recognized as the smallest horse in the world.
Due to his miniature size, he could not reach his mother’s udder and feed himself. The baby had crooked legs, an incorrect bite, and digestive problems — without human help, he would not have survived.
Fortunately, fate gave him a chance. Animal lover Vera Faith took Peabody just hours before he was to be euthanized and brought him home. She nursed him back to health, made him special orthopedic shoes, and now the foal can run. His jaw is gradually straightening out, and soon Peabody will stop sticking out his tongue. However, veterinarians believe that he will remain miniature.
True, it seems that Peabody himself is not bothered by this at all. He is growing up among dogs and has completely adopted their habits — he plays, sleeps, and even behaves like a real dog.
