Hundreds of Hollywood stars have issued a strong statement against the use of artificial intelligence for learning from films, TV series and other copyrighted materials. Actors and directors fear that technology may exploit their work without permission, harming the creative industry.

In an open letter, the celebrities emphasized that such a practice jeopardizes not only the financial interests of the authors, but also the very uniqueness of the artistic content. According to them, AI should not use other people’s work in its algorithms without the consent of copyright holders.
The letter paid special attention to the impact of this situation on major companies such as Google and OpenAI. Celebrities have called on former US President Donald Trump to intervene and take measures to protect the film and television industry from possible exploitation of their work.
