Kevin Spacey is going through one of the most difficult periods of his life: eight years after a high-profile scandal, the actor has effectively found himself homeless. He lost his home in Baltimore, where he had lived for more than ten years, and now Spacey is forced to move from hotel to hotel and live in rented apartments, following his work projects.

The 2017 scandal resulted in lengthy legal proceedings and numerous charges against him. Although he won key court cases in 2022 and 2023 and was fully acquitted on all counts, the consequences for his reputation and finances have been devastating. Spacey admits that his expenses have been enormous in recent years, his income has been virtually non-existent, and his money has literally been disappearing before his eyes.

Nevertheless, the actor has not lost hope of returning to the industry. He claims to be in contact with influential people who are willing to help him return to the screen, but everything depends on the “approval” of the most authoritative figures in Hollywood, such as Martin Scorsese and Quentin Tarantino. In the meantime, his career is taking its first steps toward a revival: the Italian thriller The Contract is coming out in 2024, and several new projects are in production, including the sci-fi action film The Saga of the Guardians of Order: The Gate of Power.

In addition, Spacey is actively performing in his own show, Kevin Spacey: Songs and Stories, where he combines personal memories with music. According to the actor, the last seven years have been a time of reevaluation and gratitude for him. In May, he received a lifetime achievement award at the Better World Foundation gala concert in Cannes and noted that he has become more honest, open, and accepting.
