My son drew a picture of me… and I realized that he sees things in me that I didn’t know about myself.

🎨Yesterday, the kids at daycare were asked to draw a picture of their family.
When my son handed me his drawing, I smiled… until I noticed one detail.

On his sheet of paper, I was drawn with a huge heart on my chest.
“Why is that?” I asked.

He looked at me and said, “Dad, because you have the biggest heart in the world.”

I couldn’t hold back my tears.

👉 I told the whole story in the article in the comments 👇

We were having dinner, and I asked my son to show me what he had done at kindergarten today.
He took out a drawing: his mom, himself, and me.

He drew a huge red heart on my chest.
At first I laughed, and then I asked him why.

He replied, “Dad, because you always share your kindness with everyone.”
And at that moment, I realized that children notice more than we think.

Sometimes simple drawings say more about us than any words ever could.
