A group of sailors aboard a cruise ship suddenly spotted a huge killer whale, almost 6 meters long, stranded on the rocky shore and fighting for its life.

The crew naturally decided to stop and help. But helping such a large whale was no easy task. At first, all they could do was spray the animal with water to keep it from drying out.
They quickly contacted the rescue services and, together with local rescuers, continued to spray the whale, working tirelessly to give it a chance to survive.
For six long hours, people fought to save the orca—and their persistence paid off.
