The owner noticed that her golden retriever was rubbing his eyes hard, and in February 2019, the dog was taken to the vet — the diagnosis turned out to be severe: glaucoma. The disease progressed, and after a while the pet lost all sight: first, one eye was removed, and after 11 months the second could not be saved. Despite this, the woman did not leave the animal and was looking for a way to help him adapt to a new life.

The solution turned out to be simple and warm — a puppy of the same breed appeared next to him, who became a real guide and friend. The couple quickly got used to each other: the puppy accompanies the blind retriever both at home and on walks, making daily life safer and more joyful.
