Jaswin Sangha, known in the media as the “queen of ketamine,” has pleaded guilty to five federal charges related to the death of actor Matthew Perry, CBS News reports. She is the latest defendant in the case to be held responsible for supplying the illegal substances that led to Perry’s fatal overdose. Previously, other participants in the scheme also pleaded guilty.
Representatives of the Central District of California prosecutor’s office confirmed that Sangha agreed to plead guilty to five counts in the criminal case, including the sale of ketamine, which ultimately caused the actor’s death. Perry died on October 28, 2023; his body was found in a hot tub, and an autopsy revealed that the cause of death was a drug overdose, with the actor’s condition also affected by coronary heart disease.
Earlier, Perry’s doctor, Salvador Placentia, also pleaded guilty to four counts, each of which carries a maximum sentence of ten years in prison. The sentencing hearing is scheduled for December 3, 2025.
