“Has nature failed?” An adult Nessa spaniel looks like a tiny puppy and wins hearts with its diminutive size

Sometimes, looking at tiny puppies and kittens, you really want them to stay small forever. Their clumsiness, big eyes and childlike spontaneity are touching at first sight. It seems that time should stop next to them — and with one dog from New York, nature seemed to really play such a joke.

Nessa is a cavalier King Charles spaniel who looks like a puppy, although in fact she is already two years old. While other dogs of this breed weigh about 5.5 kilograms by her age, Nessa barely reaches three. At the same time, she is absolutely healthy, active and feels great, just… she has not grown up.

The owner says that Nessa was the smallest puppy in the litter, and it seems that nature decided to keep her in this miniature format forever. Veterinarians confirm that the dog has no pathologies — this is a rare but safe developmental feature.

Today, Nessa is a real star of social networks: more than 170 thousand people follow her life on Instagram. Small, happy and always “puppy dog”, she seems to prove that sometimes miracles really exist — and they have a tail, paws and big trusting eyes.
