A few years ago, Adam Surr found himself at the bottom: financial problems, two small children and constant stress led him to alcohol addiction. He could not resign and undergo rehabilitation — his family was completely dependent on his income. Everything changed when he saw on the Internet the story of people traveling in a converted van. Together with his wife Jessica, they decided to take a risky step — to sell their usual life and start from scratch.
In 2018, the couple bought an old school bus and turned it into a cozy mobile home in a year. Now they travel the country, live in national parks, teach children online, and spend only about $700 per month. The family has become closer than ever, and the open road is their real home.
