Meghan Markle is once again the center of attention — this time because of her new project. The Duchess of Sussex presented the first product under the As Ever brand — a rosé wine from Napa Valley. The premiere took place on Tuesday, and the drink sold out in just an hour. The wine was sold in sets of three, six, and twelve bottles, with a minimum price of $30 per bottle and delivery available only within the United States.

To celebrate the launch of the brand, the As Ever team posted a short video showing wine being slowly poured into a glass, accompanied by a distinctive sound. The video was captioned: “It’s here! Let’s raise a glass to the newest addition to the As Ever family — our exquisite Napa Valley rosé is now available!” However, the public’s reaction was not so positive. Internet users quickly ridiculed the video, claiming that the sound of “pouring” sounded unnatural and was more reminiscent of the sound of water in a toilet than the gurgling of wine.

There were many sarcastic comments: “I’ve poured wine hundreds of times, and it doesn’t sound like that!” wrote one user. “It seems that Meghan is the only person in the world who can’t even reproduce the sound of wine correctly,” added another. Some complained that the video made them feel uncomfortable because of the strange sound. However, there were also those who supported the Duchess, boasting about their purchase: “My mom gave me three bottles — can’t wait to try them!” Despite the criticism, the launch can be considered a success — As Ever rosé, with its delicate fruity notes and refined taste, has already become the wine that everyone on the internet is talking about.
