Eric and Courtney Waldrop’s family from the US became famous worldwide thanks to their amazing story. The couple is raising nine children, even though Courtney has only given birth three times. Their youngest are six sets of twins: girls Rivers, Rain, and Rowlings, and boys Lake, Blue, and Tag, who will soon celebrate their fourth birthday.

The family’s story began back in their school days: Eric and Courtney met as teenagers and dreamed of having a large family from a young age. After their wedding, their first child, Sailor, was born, but subsequent pregnancies ended in miscarriages. Despite the difficulties, the couple did not give up hope of becoming parents again and turned to doctors. After IVF treatment, they had two more sons, Wells and Bridge.

A few years later, the couple decided to try again, dreaming of having a daughter. Doctors implanted six fertilized eggs into Kourtney, and to everyone’s amazement, all six took root. The doctors warned of the high risks and suggested selective reduction, but the parents refused. Courtney spent the last months of her pregnancy under medical supervision and gave birth to sextuplets by C-section on December 11, 2017.

Today, the Waldrop family lives in a noisy but happy home. The sleepless nights and fatigue are behind them, but their dream of a large family has come true — Eric and Courtney have nine healthy, cheerful children.
