The story of American retiree Bruce Campbell is both inspiring and surprising. For almost 17 years, he has been living in the woods, with a real airplane as his home, and Bruce himself says he has never been happier. He used to work as an engineer and led a normal life, but his dream of creating something completely unique never left him, even after he retired.

In 2003, Bruce bought an old Boeing 727 that was no longer airworthy for $200,000. The plane was originally located in Japan, and transporting it to a remote location took a lot of time and money. In its new location, the retiree completely converted the airliner into a home: he installed a shower, set up living areas, and made it a cozy home in the middle of the forest.

Bruce happily welcomes guests and is proud when his unusual home makes a strong impression on visitors. The interior of the Boeing looks amazing: a combination of engineering genius and creative approach transforms the plane into a truly unique and comfortable home that impresses everyone who visits it.
