On the first day, he ordered a lobster for $150 — but he didn’t expect it to end for him.

It was meant to be a normal first date.

Nothing serious-just dinner, a conversation, an opportunity to get to know each other.

Everything went well at first.

We talked, laughed… until it was time to order food.

And that’s where things got weird.

He didn’t even look at the prices.

I immediately ordered the most expensive-lobster for $150, snacks, drinks… as if it didn’t matter.

I was surprised, but I didn’t say anything.

I decided that maybe he just wanted to make an impression.

But there was a feeling inside that something was wrong.

When dinner was over, the bill came.

And it was at that moment that everything became clear.

He leaned back in his chair and said:

– I think it makes sense if you pay. You suggested we meet.

It took me a moment to realize he was serious.

“Are you kidding?”

He shook his head.

And Moderna began to explain that ”in the modern world everything should be equal”… and that this is absolutely normal.

But it was not about equality.

It was about the lack of respect.

I calmly took the bill.

He clearly decided that he had ”won.”

But he didn’t know one thing.

I went up to the waiter… and asked him to split the bill.

Only for my order.

When he saw the amount, his face changed.

Because all the expensive dinner … remained on him.

I went back to the table, put my coat on and said:

– Equality is when everyone pays for themselves.

And she left.

Without looking back.

Sometimes a first date is not the beginning of a story.

And a quick way to understand that there will be no continuation.
