“Revealing the war over Alain Delon’s inheritance: his youngest son demands that the will be revoked, accusing his sister of manipulation”

The family of French film star Alain Delon has found itself at the center of a high-profile dispute over his inheritance. The actor’s youngest son, Alain-Fabien, is contesting the latest version of the will, claiming that it was drawn up at a time when his father was no longer fully capable of making decisions. Delon had suffered from the effects of a stroke and Alzheimer’s disease and was being treated for lymphoma when he died in 2024 at the age of 88.

Although the original will was drawn up before his illness, in the updated 2022 version, most of the inheritance went to his daughter Anouchka, which caused Alain-Fabien’s sharp dissatisfaction. He is demanding that the changes be declared invalid, claiming that his father was in a weakened mental state, and insists on restoring the old distribution of property, where the inheritance was divided more evenly among the children.

The main subject of the dispute is the rights to Delon’s creative work, which were transferred exclusively to Anouchka. The younger son also intends to challenge the transfer of ownership in 2023, when the actor was hospitalized and the property passed to his daughter. Alain-Fabien claims that his father’s health records show a long-term deterioration in his mental state, which the family was unaware of, and accuses his sister of concealing this information.

According to Alain-Fabien’s lawyer, it is not so much about money as it is about justice and truth. “He wants to prove that his father was manipulated and that dishonest actions took place,” the lawyer emphasized. The first court session is scheduled for March 9, 2026, and the public is following the development of the conflict with interest.
