A cat named Kat from Thailand has become a real internet star, winning millions of hearts with his unusual appearance. His unique coloring is the result of a rare genetic phenomenon known as chimerism, in which two different DNA strands are combined in an animal’s body. Because of this, one half of Kat’s face is covered with gray fur, and the other half is white, making him look like the comic book character Harvey Dent, better known as Two-Face from Batman.
Kat was born in 2018 and is half Persian, half Scottish Fold. His owner, a girl named Eva, found the pet by accident, but quickly realized that she had a special creature on her hands. Eva began sharing photos of Cat on social media, and very soon the pictures of her fluffy pet went viral. Users around the world never tire of admiring his expressive eyes and unusual symmetry of his face.
In addition to his striking appearance, Cat has a charming personality and very funny habits. He loves playing with toilet paper so much that his owner jokes that if he were human, he would surely ask his followers to send him some as a gift.
