The engagement took place during their trip to New York. Melanie Hamrick, a ballerina and mother of his child, has been proudly wearing the ring on her finger ever since.
“Melanie, formerly associated with the American Ballet Theater, tells her friends that she has accepted Mick’s proposal. Her loved ones are very happy about the news,” reports a person close to the couple.
Their relationship first caught the media’s attention when they were spotted together on a hotel balcony in Zurich. The romance between them began shortly after the tragic death of Jagger’s previous partner.
