🧸 I was cleaning my daughter’s room and noticed something under her pillow.
It was her old stuffed animal, which we had lost almost a year ago.
There was a small piece of paper sewn onto its ear.
I unfolded it and saw the words written in a child’s handwriting: “Mom, I always leave it here so it can watch over you while you sleep.”
I held the toy to my chest and burst into tears.
